Jigsaw (Bury), based in the Bury borough, celebrated its milestone on August 1 with a special event at Our Lady of Grace Church in Prestwich. Ellen Smith, coordinator at Jigsaw (Bury), said: "Jigsaw (Bury) is a local charity providing sport and social opportunities for young disabled people, along with a befriending service for people over the age of 50, including a weekly luncheon club and monthly outings. "For many people who access Jigsaw and Jigsaw Link, we are a lifeline, and we hope to continue our valued work for many years to come." Jigsaw (Bury) recently secured £20,000 in funding from the National Lottery's Awards for All scheme. Jigsaw Link marked the funding win with its own celebration on Tuesday, August 4, held at Trinity Baptist Church in Radcliffe.
