Nicola Sturgeon should be open about her sexuality instead of "teasing" that she might be a lesbian, a former SNP MSP has said. Ms Cherry, who was the SNP's home affairs spokesman at Westminster, said that Ms Sturgeon had become an embarrassment to the party. Ms Sturgeon accused Ms Cherry at a Fringe event on Saturday of having "an obsession with me that is not reciprocated". And I'd like to say to her directly, don't worry Nicola, I'm not obsessed with you," Ms Cherry said. Pressed by Mr Dale on whether Sturgeon should be "more frank" about her sexuality, Ms Cherry said: "I think she should be."
