Reva Nell Grant (George), aka Sneezy, was born on September 14, 1945 in Eureka to Elmer Gray George and Winnifred (Baldy) George. Reva attended Hoopa Valley Elementary School and then Hoopa Valley High School graduating with the Class of 1963. After high school, Reva moved to the Bay Area to attend Heald’s Business College to study accounting under the Federal Indian Relocation Act. In 1973, she obtained her first position within the Hoopa Valley Tribe as a Tribal Bookkeeper Trainee. Reva was a very proud supporter of Hoopa Valley Warriors Basketball, traveling many miles to watch the team play.
