The council has approved proposals for changes to the Lloyds branch at Unit 2, 27-31 White Hart Street, High Wycombe, following an application submitted by Lloyds Banking Group. Under the approved plans, the existing goalpost feature on the left-hand side of the shopfront will be removed, and two projecting signs measuring 55cm by 55cm will be installed. A new letterbox has been approved as part of the scheme, while two additional Lloyds logos will be added to the branch frontage. Planning documents state the application sought consent for the "display of fascia, projecting sign, ATM surround and letterbox". These include a requirement that internally illuminated signs do not exceed a brightness of 800 candela per square metre each and that the light source for projecting signs is shielded from direct view of road users to prevent glare.
