Bury Council has made alterations to its bin collection schedule on those days. In order to protect collection crews from working during the worst of the heat, bin collections in Bury will be starting at 6am on both days. The council has asked residents to put their usual bins out in plenty of time on those days, and thanked people for their patience and understanding. In an update on Facebook, Bury Council said: "With the temperatures that are forecast for Wednesday and Thursday this week, our waste collection crews will be starting at 6am on these days only. "Please could you put out your usual bins in plenty of time and thank you for your patience."
