The survey launches on Monday, August 10, giving people the opportunity to tell the council about their experience of living, working and spending time in their local neighbourhood. Feedback gathered through the survey will help to inform future priorities, decision-making and service planning across the borough. In 2025, feedback received through the My Neighbourhood Survey (formerly the Places Survey) meant that investments were made in street cleansing equipment and new waste collection vehicles, and fly-tipping hotspots were identified. Leader of the council, Councillor Matt Dormer, said: "The My Neighbourhood Survey is an important opportunity to have a direct say on what matters most in your local area. "The more people who complete the survey, the better we can understand the needs, priorities and experiences of our residents."
