The widow of a EuroMillions winner who died while cycling has said she is "completely broken" as he "will never get to meet our unborn baby". Essex Police said officers were called to Maldon Road in Tiptree at 6.30am after Mr Canty was in collision with a black Ford Ka. She said: "I have lost my husband, my two girls have lost their dad, and he will never get to meet our unborn baby. She said Mr Canty was "one of a kind" and they were "so lucky to have him in our lives". Weeks before his EuroMillions win, Mr Canty helped save a police officer who suffered a heart attack on a bus during the COVID lockdown.
