As fun as it would be to write that column, however, there's just one problem — Trump has been, on net, a disaster for Nevada's billionaires and job creators. Despite Nevada's congressional delegation putting all hands on deck to address the problem, our state's casino-owning billionaires are still waiting. Wind and solar projects on public lands, for example, now must be approved directly by Interior Secretary Doug Burgum. As for lithium, Trump made it a point to mock electric vehicle owners while he was last in Las Vegas, claiming "they have a disease" and "these people are crazy." He is now an IT manager and a recurring opinion columnist for The Nevada Independent.
