Residents are reporting that the water levels at Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall is at the lowest level they have been in years. However, the waterfalls are looking very different to normal due to the prolonged hot and dry weather. Pistyll Rhaeadr’s official Facebook page has shared video of the falls and said: “Not much water coming over the falls at the moment - never seen it so low.” This has been met with surprise by followers who said: “Our river is flowing like a piddly stream at the moment. Another said: “We have never seen the river so low at the other end either”.
