Connie Stevenson, 27, mixed household substances at the property in Glasgow's Springburn on May 31, 2026. Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that Stevenson contacted the Scottish Ambulance Service that day to inform them of the gas. A hazard material officer from the SFRS used special equipment to detect gases in the property. Stevenson was eventually escorted from the property and taken for a decontamination shower by the SFRS. A member of the SFRS entered the property with breathing apparatus to assess the extent of the gas.
