GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (WNYT)- Washington County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Glens Falls man after investigators said he cashed a fraudulent check worth more than $3,000. Related: Glens Falls man arrested for allegedly using forged checkAccording to Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Alexander Gniazdowski, 61, after an investigation found he cashed the check at Hudson River Community Credit Union. Gniazdowski was charged with third-degree grand larceny and first-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument. He was arraigned at Washington County Centralized Arraignment and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in Town of Kingsbury Court at a later time.
