Brahmapur: Rooftop solar is witnessing unprecedented momentum across Southern Odisha as an increasing number of households embrace clean energy under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. So far, 54,390 families have applied under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. With TPSODL’s support, we installed a rooftop solar system, received the subsidy on time, and now our electricity bill is minimal. Among all operational districts, Ganjam has emerged as the leader with 14,278 rooftop solar installations, making it one of the top two districts in Odisha for rooftop solar adoption. A significant driver behind this transition has been TPSODL’s Utility-Led Aggregation (ULA) Model, which has made rooftop solar affordable and accessible.
