ROCHESTER — For the second straight game, the Rochester Royals used a big inning to gather in a win, this time scoring nine runs in the fourth inning against the Lakeville Loonatics to ultimately win the Section 1A contest 11-0.
The game, played at Mayo Field, was shortened to seven innings by the 10-run rule.
ADVERTISEMENTRochester scored single runs in the first and fifth innings and got excellent pitching from Thane Meiners and Harmon Zylstra.
Rochester finished with seven hits.
Grady Babcock was 1-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.
