The awards mark 20 years of the State recognising local innovation, with this year’s finalists spanning areas including medical research, advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, mining, construction and community wellbeing. The finalists have been selected across the Emerging Innovation, Growth Innovation, Advanced Manufacturing, Community Benefit and Wellbeing, Energy Innovation and Great for the State awards. The Great for the State category includes Sunfish Robotics, Ocean Hex, Myco Metals and Novolo, while the Energy Innovation Award finalists include Wevolt, WaveX, Electric Power Conversions Australia and Tessele Consultants.
