The Park Rapids Fire Department responded to a house fire on County Hwy. The Hubbard County Sheriff’s Office reported that it received word of a structure fire around 6:34 p.m. Dispatch advised that dark gray smoke was coming out of an upstairs window and flames were seen from the basement. He reported the structure was full of black smoke, and there was no reply from inside. Shortly after, the Park Rapids Fire Department arrived on scene. The report from the sheriff’s office said there are no suspicious circumstances at this time.
