The Heat plan to sign free agent forwards Ezra Ausar and Ian Schieffelin to Exhibit 10 contracts, according to reports from Ira Winderman of The South Florida Sun Sentinel and Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald. Both Ausar and Schieffelin played with the Heat’s Summer League team last month. He played two years of college basketball for East Carolina and one for Utah before finishing out his college career with USC in 2025/26. Schieffelin played four years of college basketball at Clemson, having averaged 12.4 PPG, 9.4 RPG and 2.7 APG on .495/.341/.741 shooting in 34 games (33.4 MPG) as a senior in 2024/25. According to Winderman and Chiang, the Heat also remain on track to complete their previously reported Exhibit 10 deals with Tre White and J’Vonne Hadley.
