In the incident that took place on Monday night, the ASI Srinivas, who was working in the station, suffered a minor injury to one of his shoulders. Computers, furniture and a ceiling fan in the station building, which was in a dilapidated condition, were also partially damaged. According to officials, a new building has already been built and efforts were on to shift Maripeda police station to the new building.
