PLAINVIEW — In addition to the general election that will be held on Nov. 3, Plainview-Elgin-Millville Public Schools will be hosting a special election that same day to fill the vacancy of a school board member who recently submitted their resignation. According to the board minutes from the district’s June meeting, the board approved the resignation of Jason Bade, who is listed as the board’s clerk. The candidate elected during the special election will serve a two-year term to finish the rest of the time that Bade would have served. For the district’s regular school board election, there are 10 candidates who are running for four open seats. They include Brian Durgin, Julie Hart (incumbent), Tonya Hulberg, Nick Kedrowski, Theresa “Tina” Keilholtz, Logan Kolb, Jeff Kruger, Roger Rahman (incumbent), Heidi Schumacher and Ron Springer (incumbent).
