A Canadian woman was arrested last month after she allegedly stole a FedEx package that contained around $43,500 worth of gold and silver jewelry meant for a recipient in Bensalem, authorities said Friday. Hogan allegedly stole the package in Bensalem on May 11, police said. The investigation began in May when the person meant to receive the package called Bensalem police to report that the jewelry had been stolen. Investigators learned Hogan had rented the vehicle from Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the Philadelphia International Airport the day before the theft, police said. After taking the package, Hogan allegedly returned to the airport and flew to Arizona.
