By Carlos ReyesCrews have broken ground on a major multi-year infrastructure initiative designed to overhaul pedestrian and cyclist infrastructure along Ohio Avenue in West Los Angeles. According to updates shared by Councilmember Traci Park, construction on the Los Angeles Department of Transportation’s Ohio Avenue Safety and Mobility Project began at the intersection of Barrington and Ohio avenues. Crews will generally conduct field operations Mondays through Saturdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.No construction activity is scheduled for Sundays.
