Porters Park Golf Club in Radlett's Shenley Road is seeking permission from Hertsmere Borough Council to turn residential space on its ground floor into a commercial unit. A design and access statement reads: "For several years, there has been no demand or operational requirement from any employee of the golf club to occupy this residential unit. "The club wishes to transition the space into a flexible commercial use under Class E (Commercial, Business and Service). This will allow the space to host complementary services—such as a physiotherapist, sports massage, or other professional services—that directly benefit the golf club members." Hertsmere Borough Council has set a target determination date of September 18.
