Ascension went down swinging. They entered the top of the sixth inning trailing 3-1, and Trace Haydel brought in a run to make it 3-2. With the loss, Ascension Parish now must play an elimination game to earn a rematch with team Oklahoma. That game will be on Monday at 3:00 p.m. on ESPN.
