An official from the US-led Gaza Board of Peace has insisted their 15-point peace plan is still “very much operative”, according to the Reuters news agency. The plan was rejected Sunday night by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He’s facing a heated contest in Israel’s elections in October and insisted the Israeli military would not withdraw from any territory until Hamas was disarmed.
