Fairy power has cast a spell over Burley with the return of the popular two-day festival. The New Forest Fairy Festival drew around 9,000 visitors to Burley Park at the weekend with a busy programme of live music, yoga, magic wand-making workshops and puppets shows. Celebrating its 14th year, the vibrant event transformed a corner of the New Forest into a colourful world of imagination, music and make-believe. Festival spokesperson Holly Norman said: “This year’s festival went really, really well. The New Forest Fairy Festival will return to Burley Park for its 15th year in 2027.
