Second wave of installations will close busy Glasgow street later this week
['Kevin Maguire']
Glasgow Times | News
Argyle Street will be closed from its Junction with Jamaica Street all the way up to Queen Street from 12am on Friday, July 14 to 5am on the same day.
No traffic will be allowed through Argyle Street and Queen Street whilst locals will only be able to access Ingram Street under escort from a banksman.
The planters will be erected along the south kerbline of Ingram Street and the east kerbline of Queen Street, allowing for new greenery lining the road.
We previously reported that Argyle Street had been closed for the same reason, meaning locals who were impacted previously will know what to expect when the closure rolls around.
Diversions for roads effected will be signposted accordingly upon the start of the works.
