(WAKA) – Montgomery Public Schools has something new as students were welcomed back to start the new school year. It is the district’s newest magnet program, located at Park Crossing High School. While the program is within the Park Crossing campus, it has its own wing dedicated to students to learn in their own space. Students at the system’s more than 50 schools are now back in class, with the focus being on a new era of excellence. “This school year, we encourage parents to go ahead and download the Montgomery Public Schools’ app, which is free, and then through that platform, they can sign into rooms which is a two-way communication tool that we have introduced,” Rosanna Brewton, the director of communications for Montgomery Public Schools told Action 8 News.
