The Chicks are bringing the 20th anniversary celebration of one of their biggest albums to Philadelphia this fall. The trio will perform at The Met on Wednesday, Oct. 7, as part of a tour marking two decades since the release of Taking the Long Way. For the first time, The Chicks will play the album from beginning to end, then finish the night with other favorites from their career. Released in 2006, Taking the Long Way includes "Not Ready to Make Nice," "The Long Way Around" and "Easy Silence." The Philadelphia stop comes one week after the tour opens in Detroit on Sept. 30.
