Negotiations between the federal government and the All Pakistan Goods Transport Owners Association ended without a final agreement on Tuesday and the nationwide wheel-jam strike will continue until transporters’ demands are accepted, sources told ProPakistani. The talks were held at the Ministry of Communications, where representatives of the transporters discussed their demands in detail with government officials. However, the meeting failed to produce a final agreement or formal acceptance of the transporters’ demands. He said the association was willing to continue negotiations with the government, but the nationwide strike would remain in place until their demands were practically accepted. The nationwide wheel-jam strike will continue until the transporters’ demands are approved.
