Oldham Council has said a closure order has been granted for a property in the borough, meaning it will be closed to all unauthorised people for three months. The activities going on at the property were said to be causing "significant distress and disruption" to residents who reported the issues and supplied evidence. Oldham Council said it declined to share the location of the property. The closure order means the property will remain in place for three months initially, although the court can extend it for a further three months if deemed necessary, and longer-term measures may also be considered. A council spokesperson said: "This Closure Order demonstrates our commitment to protecting residents and tackling behaviour that negatively affects our communities.
