Bluefield, VA - James Clayton "J.C." Barrett, age 96 and a half, of Bluefield, VA, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026. Born January 13, 1930, he was a son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Barrett, Sr. and Mary Francis Crockett Barrett. Barrett, Jr., and Mick Barrett. Interment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA with members of the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard and the US Navy Honor Guard performing military graveside rites.
