Huskies pitcher Devin Doyle signs with Glacier Range Riders to begin professional careerWhile the Huskies season may be over, the professional career of pitcher Devin Doyle is just beginning. The right-hander is headed to Montana after signing with the Glacier Range Riders of the independent Pioneer League. Doyle appeared in nine games for Duluth this summer, posting a 2-1 record with a 2.85 ERA and 37 strikeouts across 41 innings. His best performance came on July 24 when he threw seven shutout frames and fanned four batters. Doyle already made his Range Riders debut on Aug. 7, tossing 2.2 innings and picking up a strikeout against the Long Beach Coast.
