Hello Games' founder Sean Murray is feeling nostalgic as he looks back on No Man’s Sky’s highs and lows over the past 10 years. In hindsight, Hello Games’ lofty dreams appear “stupidly ambitious” to Murray, but the intentions behind them were totally genuine. Over the past 10 years, Hello Games has continued adding to No Man’s Sky in an attempt to deliver on their original promise to mixed fan feedback. The backlash was so severe that the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) investigated (but later cleared) Hello Games for misleading promotional material. Looking to the future, Hello Games will launch another update, titled Cosmos, though the release date has not been formally announced.
