Broadcast Radio says Myriad Playout 7 will put listener interaction closer to the heart of the studio workflow. The new version will receive its first public demonstrations at IBC 2026, with a public beta planned for the end of September and full release scheduled for December. A major feature is an integrated Listener Request workflow, connecting requests from the Broadcast Radio Web Player, Web CMS and mobile apps directly to the live studio and scheduled Log. Myriad also checks recent plays and scheduled songs by the same artist before allowing a request to be inserted. Song Voting will also be built into the studio workflow, allowing listener feedback to appear in the Media Wall and Library and potentially inform future scheduling decisions.
