Suspect still at large following stolen vehicle roundabout kerfuffle in Lennoxville

Record Staff (MM)Traffic was backed up in Lennoxville on the afternoon of Sunday, Aug. 9 after the driver of a suspected stolen vehicle, on the run from Saint-Isidore-de-Clifton, collided with another vehicle on Route 108 at the roundabout to enter the 410 on the outskirts of town.
No injuries were reported, SQ media spokesperson Béatrice D’Orsainville told The Record on Monday afternoon, and the SQ is working with the SPS on the investigation.
The call came in around 4 p.m. regarding a stolen vehicle in Saint-Isidore-de-Clifton.
Officers located the vehicle and engaged in a brief pursuit but quickly backed off for safety reasons.
Soon after, travelling on the 108 towards Lennoxville at the 410 roundabout the vehicle struck another vehicle, and then the suspect fled the scene on foot.
