Hyderabad: Trainee IPS officer Uday Krishna Reddy was sent to 14 days of judicial remand by the Upparpally court on Wednesday after being arrested in a sexual harassment case filed following a complaint by a fellow probationary officer. Hearing the matter, the court remanded him to judicial custody for 14 days, after which the accused officer was shifted to Chanchalguda Central Prison. Hyderabad Commissioner VC Sajjanar stated that preliminary evidence confirmed Uday Krishna harassed the victim. The victim initially became acquainted with Uday on Instagram in mid-2025 after responding to a post regarding his success. Following his arrest, Uday Krishna Reddy was taken to Osmania Hospital for a medical examination prior to his court appearance.
