Lyca Radio will expand its Birmingham presence to full DAB coverage from Tuesday 1st September. This upgrade comes after several months during which Lyca Radio operated with lighter output while waiting for more transmission space. Chief Executive of Lyca Radio Network, Raj Baddhan, said the team has been looking for ways to improve coverage and provide a clearer, more reliable listening experience. Lyca Radio’s Midlands service already broadcasts on full-scale DAB in Leicestershire, Coventry, Derbyshire, Wolverhampton and Shropshire. With this expansion, Birmingham joins the network’s wider regional footprint, strengthening its presence across the Midlands.
