Torrevieja’s municipal Parks and Gardens Service has completed maintenance and improvement work in more than a dozen public green spaces despite the extreme temperatures recorded during July. Teams were deployed to locations including Reina de la Sal Park, La Siesta Park, Plaza de la Constitución, Plaza del Calvario, Plaza Natalio Sáez, Avenida del Agua, Mar Azul and Los Altos. Torrevieja has more than 360 parks, gardens and other green areas requiring year-round maintenance. Parks and Gardens councillor Concha Sala praised municipal teams for continuing their work under difficult conditions. “Careful planning and the necessary preventive measures have protected workers while ensuring that our parks and gardens remain in the best possible condition for residents and visitors.”
