Bruno’s Tavern reopened Monday evening under new ownership, marking the end of its four-month closure and a legal battle between former owners. Will Wilson, one of five partners forming the bar’s new ownership, said he hopes the updates will return Bruno’s to its former glory. “When people think of Bruno’s, they think of Uptown,” Wilson said. Melius said he’s hopeful that the bar’s new ownership will mark a return to its status as an Uptown staple.
