120 HSE buildings vacant for more than 12 months

Calls for Health Minister to publish a plan for long-term vacant propertiesA total of 120 buildings owned by the HSE have been vacant for more than 12 months, new figures reveal.
The majority of the buildings – 104 – have been deemed surplus to the HSE’s requirements and are ‘in disposal’.
The remaining 16 vacant buildings are ‘currently under review and are being considered for retention/reuse or disposal,’ he added.
“The Government says it is doing all it can to increase housing supply while publicly owned buildings sit vacant for years.
The HSE has 4,400 buildings across 2,600 locations throughout the country.
