Visakhapatnam: Housing and Information Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy said the upcoming inauguration of Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport would mark a historic milestone in Andhra Pradesh’s development journey and unfold a new chapter of economic growth, connectivity and employment opportunities in North Andhra. “YSRCP is trying to instigate regional conflicts and create chaos among the people of Andhra Pradesh who are otherwise witnessing unprecedented growth in the state under the coalition government’s rule,” he emphasised. On the contrary, he highlighted how Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been consistently demonstrating how experienced leadership could accelerate development and attract major investments to Andhra Pradesh. Parthasarathy said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for projects worth Rs.17,912 crore on August 1. The minister stated that improved connectivity from the airport to major tourist destinations would help establish the region as a prominent tourism and logistics hub.
