Hyderabad: BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar on Wednesday alleged that the government decreased security for the former Civil Supplies Corporation Chairman Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, who faced mental agony leading to his present medical condition. Addressing a press conference here at Telangana Bhavan, Praveen Kumar said that Peddi Sudarshan Reddy was harassed after his weapon licence and security cover were revoked in the name of no threat of Naxals. He fell ill due to the inability to withstand harassment from Vijay Kumar (of Vasavi Constructions) and Faheem Qureshi. The BRS leader said that traders from Narsampet sold a piece of land in Vattinagulapally to Vasavi Builders. However, when Faeem Qureshi set his sights on that land, he had an individual named Vijay Kumar file a case to harass the owners.
