So after a whole bunch of killer shark films this year, Miranda and Khrob Edmonds’ family drama “Whale Shark Jack” feels like a breath of fresh air. All in all, “Whale Shark Jack” is a wonderful family film and it probably won’t have a lot of audience, and that is more infuriating than can be expressed. After feeding the shark, Sarah keeps him in a holding tank, puts a little band aid on the injured fin and names him Jack. Sarah has found a best friend in Jack, who keeps showing up by their boat everyday to swim with her. Sarah wonders if they could not save Jack, but Hazel sings her healing song once again, which echoes through the water.
