Visakhapatnam: MES Builders Association of India launched a nationwide agitation on Wednesday against the continued neglect by senior authorities of the MES department in addressing the practical and policy-related issues faced by its builder members. Association representatives stated that despite repeated meetings with the department’s senior officials and written representations highlighting the concerns of MES builders, no action has been taken. In view of the continued authorities apathy, the association held a protest. As the first phase of the movement, the association’s branches across the country will submit memorandums to their respective zonal chief engineers outlining the issues faced by builders.
