Rabbitohs halfback Ashton Ward is confirmed to miss the remaining four games this season after suffering a hamstring injury against the Parramatta Eels. The club has confirmed in its injury update report that Ward's season has come to an end after he suffered a high-grade hamstring tear last weekend. The injury occurred in the first half as he attempted a conversion after his side scored a try. The 22-year-old recently signed a two-year extension with the club until the end of 2028 and has shown his potential to be the Rabbitohs' halfback of the future. In Ward's 13 appearances this season, he averaged 378.6 kicking metres per game, forced 4 drop-outs, 12 line-break assists, among his 10 try assists.
