The Asotin County Fire District is looking for community members who would like to help out their neighbors by becoming firefighters. They’re accepting applications for volunteers through this Friday. Volunteers are paid for training and the emergency calls they go out on. Applicants must live within 5 minutes of the fire station on Appleside in the Clarkston Heights. If you’d like to apply, you can call 509-758-5181.
