Logansport, IN - Richard L. "Dick" Byers, 90, of Logansport, passed away at 12:46 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, at Chase Center. Born on Feb. 20, 1936, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Fred and LaVera (Stroble) Byers. Survivors include his wife, Judith Byers of Logansport; son, Rick Byers (Tina) of Royal Center; daughters, Diana Zbikowski (Robert) of Portage and Donna Schueller (Ken) of Missouri; and sister, Barbara Nelson of Oregon. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Byers; brothers, William Maddox, Ralph Byers and Daniel Byers; and sisters, Freida Maddox, Thelma Maddox and Carolyn Tomlinson. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Marocco Chapel, Logansport.
