Visakhapatnam: GVMC Commissioner Ketan Garg announced a revised schedule of the flash mob and beach walk on Wednesday. In view of the inauguration of Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 1, the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC), in accordance with the directions of the state government, will organise a mega flash mob and beach walk themed as ‘Proudly Vizag’ at RK Beach on Friday, July 31. As part of the programme, the mega flash mob performances and entertainment activities will commence at 4 pm at Matsya Darshini. This will be followed by the mega beach walk, which will begin at 5:30 pm from Matsya Darshini and proceed up to the Kursura Submarine Museum. He further stated that the mega flash mob and beach walk are organised to create greater public awareness about Visakhapatnam’s development, cleanliness, tourism potential, unity and the strategic importance of the Bhogapuram International Airport.
