Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke, operating as the Bylor joint venture, have been served with two enforcement notices – both of which have been extended – after a worker sustained “serious injuries” when a panel fell from height.
The regulator said “a formwork panel fell approximately 29m”, which left a worker with serious injuries at the site in Somerset.
“The incident was reportable under the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR) 2013.
It added: “Both notices were issued under Regulation 15(2) of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.”
