Aircraft management specialist Altiora has announced the launch of a co-ownership programme centred on light and midsize business jets. Unlike conventional fractional programmes, owners retain their aircraft and crew rather than accessing a shared fleet. Altiora's co-ownership programme will initially target California and the US southwest. All participating aircraft are privately owned and held in dedicated ownership structures on behalf of the co-owners, operating under Part 91 regulations. Owners are free to place an aircraft under a Part 135 certificate, although Gerami believes co-ownership offers a more efficient way to offset ownership costs.
