Taylor Townsend had a lot of strong math teachers growing up, and one high school math teacher said accounting is a good career for those who like math. Townsend joined HoganTaylor in 2017 and was promoted multiple times before he was named partner in January. Townsend is a key leader within the Fayetteville tax practice and leads the firm’s Tax Process Team, helping drive consistency, efficiency and quality across five offices. Over the next five years, Townsend looks to solidify HoganTaylor’s market position, build the Fayetteville team to sustain further growth and set the next generation up for success. Before HoganTaylor, Townsend spent two years with KPMG in Dallas, working in the corporate tax group serving Fortune 50 and multinational companies with complex structures.
